If the DFLE costs nearly that much, I will have to pass and wish everyone else happy spending.

Sorry, but I have my limits and won't be sucked into "it 'll cost what it costs".
Some of these prices are just getting way out of hand IMO. Maybe I should start making knives.....

At that price or even close to that, I will find it in me to be satisfied with my Battle Rat or hunt for a good user CG DF. My Battle Rat is a fine knife.

Based the following prices:

Satin Battle Rat with differentially heated SR-101 - $198.95

CG Battle Rat - $148.95

CG DF - $139.95

I was sort of hoping for $179.95 and max $189.95.

Even then, I would still like to keep in mind this is just a big beater type knife with Res-C handles. Why should it cost so much?
