I hated Glock's for years until I actually shot one. I didn't understand how it could possibly be a good shooting gun. I hated the plastic, hated the design and mostly hated how it felt in my hand.
I still don't think they are even half-way decent looking guns. But, the darn things sure shoot well and are very reliable, tough and functional.

I only have one in .40 - model 27.
Which is night and day better to me with the little finger extension on the clips! I don't like having my little finger hanging. It does a lot for control IMO.

As much as I love my 1911 style .45's, I keep pondering a Glock in .45 to see how I like it. I would probably consider the model 21 with 13 rounds to see how it compares to my Para Ordnance P-14 with 14 rounds.

Nothing like having a lot of rounds of heavy caliber in a smooth shooting gun. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Although, the catch is, they are too big for carry and not nearly as good as my Benelli M1 for home defense... so ... (?????) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Plus, I already have the P-14 and I keep blowing all my cash on knives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

I haven't been able to buy a gun in a few years now.... Probably since I found Swamp Rat... Then Busse... Then Scrap Yard... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I don't actually own a 9mm. I much prefer .40 and .45 (own 3 in each), but 9mm is much more economical if you do lots of shooting with it.
