No. The orange is mandated, and it varies from State to State. The original idea was to help prevent accidental shootings. Most outdoorsman wouldn't buy orange clothes. In Georgia, the orange is only required during deer season. Turkey hunters, duck hunters, and squirrel hunters often wear camo and no orange to hide from their prey. There are those hunters that are so stupid they they might actually shoot into the bush without identifying their target, and it has happened many times. It also makes it easier for the Possum Police to see deer hunters, stop them and search them and generally mess with them and ruin their hunting.
