Why even have a knife, if you can't use it?
Why even have a coin if you can't spend it or a postage stamp if you can't send mail with it? But would you care to guess how many numismatists and philatelists there are in the world?

Some people like to collect knives. Others invest in them. Contrary to popular opinion, purchasing knives for either of those reasons is just as legitimate as buying knives to use them.

I'm glad you don't use them, Bruce. That way some of us can get discontinued like-new models from collectors like you. Then we can beat them up! Some of my knives have sat for years without use. But all my Busses have been used. I have some daggers and WWII knives that will likely never see use. But choppers and survival knives? They're fun to test and use.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
