I had a 2 very small chip/nicks in my coated Dogfather after the first time I'd used it. I stropped it up some, and haven't ever had problems since. That said, you can barely see where one of those original chips was... and mine has had the heck used out of it since then.

Hopefully you don't have any more issues, bro. Glad to see that DFLE getting some use!

Here's a quick pic of how "used" my Dogfather is now - after having that initial chip I was worried, but it held up 100% since then!
