Thank you guys. One last question (I think) what do YOU use to put an edge on your Dogfathers?

I just covexed and sharpened my first knife ( A kershaw Outcast D2) with sandpaper on a soft backing. I didnt know if y'all were doing something similar or perhaps using rods/stones and then convexing on a strop.
