Welcome to the Yard SGTCap. I think most of us run the gamet in terms of sharpening methods from stroping to belt sanders. I use a strop and/or belt sander on most of my convex type edges. I use an Edge Pro and Sharpmaker for v grinds. Good luck in your quest.
