D2 or even *cough* 440C on smaller, slicing only knives is alright by me .... my only ATS-34 knife is a Ti Spyderco Lum Folding Tanto.....but its mostly a show queen...and I haven't actually used /sharpened with an ATS-34 blade before..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
