Love the topic Reconseed. As a city guy, I've given this topic much thought. I try to keep things simple. I prefer small, light concealable fixed blades over folders and pistols that allow good first shot accuracy and quick follow up shots.

Here's what a carry:

Pistol:

Glock 26 in a CompTac Pro Undercover holster worn behind the hip on right side. Depending on temeratures outside, and the need to wear lighter clothing, I might substitute a Kel-Tec P11 in the same model holster. I shoot these guns shoot well and both are extremely reliable.

Knife:

God, here the choices become overwhelming. My son will be a luck guy when I migrate to the other side of the grass. I like to carry my knives in a horizontal, cross draw position and IWB if possible. Most of the fixed blades I carry regulary can be carried this was. These include the Brock Combat Options, Dozier NY Special, Dozier Agent, Dan Koster's Karda or Tusk and the Swamp Warden. All of these knives are small, light and flat. I guess that's why I like them. I alco carry a Spyderco Li'l Temperance, depending on my ability to conceal a fixed blade.

Watch:

I have been wearing a new stainless steel Citizens Eco-Zilla. What my knives may lack in weight is made up for by the Zilla. I alternate this watch with a Seiko Black Monster and ocassionally a Casio model.

Flashlight:

Well, I dont need one because my wife won't let me out after dark.
