I'm not sure exactly what you mean but I'm going to guess maybe it is because we all have cars and don't have useful public transportation?
This is going to sound rude, but I don't mean it to. But, no. That is not even remotely close to what I meant. But that also shows how bad things have become that you are so far off.
It is hard to get out of the mindset of the position we have been placed in. But think about what it really takes to "just live." Outdoors men above all other people are usually the first to understand that.
