for a pure chopper (the battle rat is lighter and probably good at machette work too) I would go DFCG.
my goal would be to get both. my strategy would be to get the rarer one while I can if I couldn't afford both right now. The battle rat isn't exactly soft on performance.
Dan certainly isn't obligated to make any more dog fathers, but I am very confident that he will. Even if he doesn't, you can still find another DFCG 10X easier than another battle rat.
Once you have both, you can make your own decision which is better for you and either keep both or let one go. While I really like both of them, I like the battle rat more.
