nice job pitman, this is the sort of story I've seen in my own life many times. I once brought my little gerber folder on a school backpacking trip (I go to private school, so I won't get to trouble for having a knife) but several people said "ewww, why do you need a knife? that's weird"

well, guess what, by the end of the three day trip, I couldn't count how many times people had borrowed my knife. Its just this kind of hypocritical double-standard to annoys me.
