It depends on how you plan to use the knife, both very similar knives with big differences.



From what I hear, the RMD is another variant of the DMCG.

DMCG:
SR-77, thicker, shorter res-c handles, penetrator tip, and hidden tang.

RMD:
SR-101, thinner, larger micarta handles, and full tang.

Just based on the differences, the RMD would cut better and hold an edge longer. It might rust a little easier too.

The thick profile and sabre grind doesn't make the DMCG the best slicer, but the thing is a tank and nothing Ban can't fix.
