Yours looks much better than mine that I just stripped and convexed, and I used a belt sander. After seeing how rough that blade was, I just went for the funky CE look. I'm not likely to ever try another satin finish on a big knife. It is just too much work. If I want a satin one, I'll buy it that way. I'm sticking to doing convex edges.
