I have some strong Libertarian leanings (apparently so does Andy) which does not mean we are pot heads but that we think that government should stay out of peoples lives as much as possible to have a society. That means a man should be able to decide for himself if he wants to own a gun or what goes in his body.
If you do something that hurts or interferes with another person then you should be held responsible. If not you should be left alone. Helmet laws are a good
example. Since the only person you can hurt is yourself it should not be the governments place to control your actions. The UK is what can happen when a
"nannystate" gets out of control. The US used to be one of the greatest countries in the world because it had so much trust in it's people but sadly it has gotten away from those values.

Prohibition whether it was alcohol or drugs causes a hundred times more damage than the things it was trying to ban.
