In my ridiculously misspent youth I tried all the drugs available in Vancouver in the 90's(sometimes all at once) and I turned out OK eventually.

As far as kids doing it I think it should be up to parents to "parent" their kids not the government.

I could even understand prohibition if it was effective. But giving control of a multibillion dollar industry and major smuggling routes into our country to the control of organized crime seems to be a bit of a security problem. Still everybody loves Canada so were OK.

I see the drug prohibition and gun control as the same thing. People deciding for us that our civil liberties are to dangerous for us to have. I am a Canadian but I think the US had the greatest system of government ever when the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were written. Actually Ho Chi Min felt the same way ironically.
The citizen soldier and the second amendment along with that creative and independent drive make the US unique of all the countries in the world.
For example if you have some extra cash buy some Ford stock. The economic downturn is just enough to make manufacturing in the US profitable again while it has gone up everywhere else. It also looks good for other US manufacturers like a certain Knife company. Wow a mention of knives.
