I think its easy to become biased against large blades because we tend to look back at our experiences with small thin ATS34/154CM blades at high Rcs.

I voted that I would try big blades simply because I assumed that the hardness would be dialed back appropriately and the blade steel would still be relatively thick. As steel fan has shown, under those circumstances things should be fine.
