in fact, i'd take the fact that we keep buying more as evidence that we're not happy!
i'm almost inclined to sell all but three, but unfortunately i'd still be free to buy more and freedom is th enemy of synthetic happiness.
Synthetic happiness? Everybody knows our whole economy would collapse without always getting more and more. The more stuff we buy and possessions we have, the happier we will be. Of course, as soon as we get the newest happiness creator, it becomes old. I will have reached total nirvana and inner peace once the NMFBM arrives. And as an added bonus, I will be a superior human being to all those who lack one. Consume! Spend! Buy! Accumulation of matierial goods is almost as uplifting and enlightening as gaining power over others or worldwide notoriety! Remember, above all else, we are what we own.
