I love my big knives such as my DF, FBM and other BM's, but the knife they have now is way to big to be anything near practical. My big knives are usually used in Kenya but when I am here I usually use my RMD, DM and MP sized knives. I may break the bigger ones out for camping purposes or for s$@#ts and giggles.

In the end it also depends on what gear you plan to carry. IMHO it is too big and cumbersome.
