Well the wife and I have been looking for a house to live in. Like many people in this process you have the ideal vision of your house and then you usually settle for what you can find closest to it.
Ideally we were hoping to find a house that was built on some acreage that butted up against some state, or national forest. We wern't interested in square footage in so much as we wanted seclusion, privacy, and a lack of cookie cutter developments in our area. Ideally the house would sit in thinned woods, with heavy thick woods lining the perimeter, and a cleared area for gardening and star watching.
Well we pretty much found what we were ideally looking for. We managed to find a house on 10 acres that's surrounded by both a state forest, a national forest, and a wildlife management area. The land and the house itself is close enough to what we want to almost be exact.
So wish me luch that all goes through. We qualify for the mortgage right now the hope is that the house won't have any major problems in the inspection process.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
