Bruce - I understand your concerns, as I have mixed feelings as well. I love my SS4, and I'm sure Dan was pleased that it was a resounding success. I just don't want the Scrap Yard to go the way of Swamp Rat, starting out with great knives at great prices, and then the downhill slide to more special runs and higher prices. I guess I'm just not a good enough collector to appreciate that approach. When I voiced my concerns at the Swamp I was battered by comments that were less than friendly. That is why I was so happy when Scrap Yard was announced, and I have been so happy with them. As a retired rancher I don't have an unlimited supply of funds, and Dan's approach to the highest value for dollar spent is right up my alley.
