Just to give a different perspective to it when supplies are limited. Most eCommerce sites handle consistent heavy loads ok, however have trouble with MASSIVE load spikes.
Given how hard the dogs hit the bowl, it would take a very good site to both handle the load and not mess up. A very common problem is that orders are actually placed faster than the server can track, resulting in more being sold than are available. That is what happened with the DMDCs & fortunately the Yard decided to honor all orders and produce a second batch to cover them.
With this knife being a limited edition & there being limited quantities available the best solution to controlling orders is good old manual processing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
