Yeah, what KG said, CG is just a coated blade. I completely missed that part of your question recon, sorry.

Many people have done reviews on the the YK, try and dig them up. I'd say it is pretty tough for it's size, 3/16 is 0.1875 inhes. The DMCG is ~0.285 (LE, DC is 0.250) and the S6 is 0.275. So there's a big difference in thickness, but 3/16 in SR-77 would still stand up to some prying and hard batoning/splitting.

*The original YKCG was 3/16, I don't think any details were given for the tan YK, but my guess is they kept the stock the same.
