Looks like there's going to be a "Hack Bear Claw", a monster version of the Cub.
Maybe... whatever.
I will believe it when I see it. I am not interested in hearing about any more "You can't guess what is coming" flaunt and tease games.
I am however, concerned about these "HACK" blades. Based on the extremeley high price / EXTREMELY LOW Bang for the Buck of the Bear Cub, I sense Jerry is charging about full custom shop prices for "HACK" blades.
I don't buy and can't justify LE blades as they are TOO high priced.
So, I sure as heck don't have any interest in Custom Shop priced stuff - especially if "HACK" blades are "Training" practice blades. - Marketed as such, tagged as such and should devalue as such.
IMO - selling "HACK" / training / practice grind blades is a smart way to not waste material for Jerry. But, to me, I "CLEARLY" view something sold as practice/training blades should be "DISCOUNTED" and sold similarly to "SECONDS".
I know Jerry refers to the "HACK's as having a "true custom nature", but I don't see it. And I don't see paying $150 shipped (or so) for a 5.5" oal nail picker.
If Jerry sold a bunch of them, them more power to Jerry.
But, if the Bear Cub is an indication of what larger HACK blades might cost, I am not interested in HACK stuff.
If Jerry doesn't "Bring" real world knives at real world prices, I am not intersted.
An SFNO with satin finish and CE edge at under $300 and you have my attention.
