Quarter inch is pretty darn serious. The Dogfather is 0.25", and 15 inches overall length. If I baton it into a big chunk of wood and lean sideways on the handle, I can make the blade flex a little bit but that's it.
To actually break a quarter inch slab of SR77 steel is, I believe, beyond unaided human strength. You would have to try very hard to break a Scrapyard knife. Which is kind of the point. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> So don't worry about it.
