The AD's make a great little hunting knife and EDC.
As do a wide variety of knives from quality manufacturers that cost far less.
I'm not saying INFI isn't great blade steel. It is. It's just not the ONLY great blade steel out there. (It's not even the only great blade steel manufactured by the Busse Kin.) And matching your steel to your needs doesn't mean you always have to break the bank to accomplish it. I'd argue, for example, that there's little a Game Warden can do that a Mud Puppy can't at less than half the price. [/quote]
I agree with 100% also. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Most of my skinning/hunting work in the past has been either with Green River or F-Dick skinners. Both cheap blades and excellent knives.
I still prefer the Busse and subsidiary company's knives over all others, so I don't mind spending the extra money to have them.
It's only over the last six years that I've ever owned a quality blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Then I caught the fever. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />
