... The 154 for awhile was at the bottom of my list of favorites- now it is right up at the top. I am absolutely thrilled with the new offering. Being 154 and that type of blade is going to make it probably the best utility knife I have <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> !! The only bummer is now I have to wait. But- as you guys know - it is worth the wait. Just my thoughts-Thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I have also "learned" to love the 154 CM. This is an amazing steel for sharpness and edge retention. I'm sure somebody is going to dredge up some of my old posts trashing it and ATS-34. With the modern sharpening tools available now, there is no reason to shy away from these hard steels. I'm looking forward to getting the new Scrap Muk, too.
