Check out Survival Boat Rations. They are designed to be nutritionally balanced, and digestible with minimal need for extra water. They come shrink wrapped in foil, and last for years.

I’ve got a bunch of Mainstay meals in my emergency kits. But they are packed in blocks designed to give you a daily ration. Since that ration is spread over several meals, you need some baggies or something to carry the uneaten portions.

If I were restocking, I’d go with the S.O.S. Food Lab U.S. Coast Guard Approved Survival Rations. The advantage is that they come in single meal sized packets.
