dl351 and VoxHog summed it up nicely.

If the Scrapper 5 turns out to be 3/16" thick, it will be roughly the equivalent of a RatManDu with a Res-C mudder handle. I realize you're new, nyefmaker. So I'm not sure if you've aware of the RatManDu's reputation. But many consider it to be the finest 5" EDC/Utility Knife ever made. And it's constructed of through-hardened SR101.

Here's a pic of a RatManDu for reference:

The Scrapper 5 CG in through-hardened SR101 is going to be a winner. If you get one, you will love it.

Bruce, I'll put my DMCG up against the Ratmandu in the 5 inch category ANYDAY. No comparison in myopinion. while the ratmandu is a nice knife and carries well, it isnt anywhere near the DMCG IMO
