I don't have a blackberry to compare with the iPhone, but I'm a big time mac user, so for me the iPhone was a natural choice - it integrated well with all the apps I was already using on my computer. If you have a PC the choice wouldn't be so obvious.
My Blackberry is an older model, and doesn't have a lot of web browsing ability. No camera, and I need a PC running windows to run my sync. Frustrating as I'm a Unix/Linux Systems Admin. That's the only thing that has stopped me from running Ubuntu Linux on my desktop.
