That is a good guy, I bet he will enjoy it and you will too. I got to shoot one of the Taurus 1911's and it was very accurate. I know there are those that will knock the Taurus 1911, but it is a tool like others.
What range are you going to? I have thought about joining the OKC Gun Club but that is a drive for me for the money and time that is required.
