ok so i been trying the strop , not fully convexing , but i do see the point of convexing it .... and i really like that on a chopper... but on a slicer hollow ground. or even a flat grind seams to go real good too...

also i got it down to a mirror shine and found out it might be sharp but with out proper blade geometry ... some of my blades dont like to bite in.... i found on my rat if i just stone it nice and sharp it gives very very very small teeth that seams to take a bite faster then just being razor sharp...

im probably just confused...
