They all work. Even an inexpensive 1" x 30" from Harbor Freight can do good work. Quality belts are important. I get mine from Lee Valley and elsewhere. Of the ones I have personally used, the Central Machinery from HF, the Delta 1x42, the Chipping Away (not recommended), and my current one, the Kalamazoo 1x42, I like the Kalamazoo best. The Delta is a good machine, too.
