I have the same problem with my DFLE turning colors from pine trees.

Horn Dog, I remember you mentioned something like wiping it down with paint thinner or alcohol to clean your blades? Can't remember exactly what it was.

Alcohol will remove pine sap from your hands and blades even better than turpentine, which is surprising. As for removing sap stains, I polish them out with my buffing wheel.
