Will the leather eventually stretch causing the kydex to have some play?
The leather won't stretch. It is halftanned leather, which is basically veggie tanned with a core of rawhide. This makes this leather very stiff and hard, and makes it keep it's shape (even when wet)..
the layer of rawhide is clearly visible in some of the pics..
