I couldn't agree more! They were a very intelligent and artistic people. No one in history was NOT violent, their protrayal as barbarians was propaganda!
Yes, we should not have expected otherwise from Christian monks who were being killed, looted, and plundered. The question is, why the anti-European propaganda continues. I suppose it is because of the Nazis, who stole and perverted much Norse culture. The posts that Bors has posted show clearly wisdom that is suitable for us all today.
