Hello Carpenoctem - Welcome to the Yard! Interesting point about the edge geometry, but I feel that a knife's main function is cutting. My Swamp Rat BattleRat is a great chopper, but it came to me ready to shave hair. THAT is the way I feel a knife edge should be! I hope the new Scrap Yard Bowie will be the same, but of course, it's different strokes for different folks!
