Dan - you are certainly right about development in the country. That is exactly what has happened to Branson. When I vacationed in the area back in the sixties, Branson was really a nice, rural area with lots of country and very little traffic. Now it is just one tourist draw after another, and the traffic is terrible! It has transitioned from a quaint little country town to just another crowded tourist trap.
