Actually, the 9" bowie is fairly easy to carry. The blade is very light (forged) so it is comfortable. i do take it off if sitting in car, etc. The 6" version was obtained for that reason. I often have forgotten that I was carrying the 6", it is so unobrusive.
The 9" is more of a 'special occasion' carry.
same here, i can forget i have my Scrapper6 -- my Ranger RD7 bowie variant has become my new "special occasion" carry piece -- i like that, "special occasion" -- sort of says it all...
