I can't help you on the weight variations with different materials, but my linen micarta:

Vexillarius = 5.25 ounces; .14” thick; 3.75” blade (from front of choil); 8.25” oal

It is pretty light-weight for micarta.

And I LOVE that subtle two tone linen.

The Vex was a bargain at $99.00. They seem to be selling on the forums for around $120 - $140.

I wouldn't try to mess around too much. I think that is still a good price. Just figure out the scales you want, keep an eye on the trade forums and do the deal.

There were not enough of these made to mess around.

I hope they make more. As I think MANY people will be wanting this knife over the years and prices will likely go up. Buy now!
