They all are great and MM did a good job describing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I have the DDF-DFCG ( black) DFCG ( tanker gray which is quite heavey like DDF) and the DFLE. I prefer the DFLE- but don't forget that the original tan DFCG was also a flat grind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. I think MMs idea about stripping this DDF and doing a convex is spot on IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. That would give you the beef- plus the convex which is a great combo <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />.They are all great knives- just a bit different.
