I am new to the Busse steel game and do not own one yet.. That is until the Waki and S5LE ship. But I do own most of the other types of steel that knives are made from and I would also vote for 154CM it takes a wicked sharp edge and keeps it along time. It is just about as stain resistant as you can get which is very important for a neck knife or one that could be put back wet. For a neck type knife you shouldnt be prying on anything or opening cans of stew. It is a delicate knife in my opinion. With an edge holding first kinda attitude. NOT beat on stuff and keep from breaking attitude. Sharpens very easy on the brown and white spydie stones.
