I was just reading the forum rules in an attempt to figure out whether or not a particular topic might be within both the spirit and letter of that law.

My topic would be sharpening knives. I do not see that the topic itself would cause a problem with a rule. My concern is that in bringing up this topic names and links to other manufacturers might start creeping into the subject. I thought I would make this post first and seek the advice of the wiser sages before pursuing the topic.
