I will post this question here as well, so what makes a machete a machete instead of just a large knife? I have taken out my NMFBM before and had people comment on it being a machete, is it the blade length or thickness. Take the MOAB, 14+ inch long blade certainly qualifies it as a machete but the thickness and design say large knife?
