Thanks, Dan. So based on the data MM provided, a Military Regulator and a SoD weigh almost exactly the same and they're both between 1.25 oz and 1.5 oz heavier than a TT Regulator. I assume all of that additional weight went to the blade end of the knife as a result of changing the blade grind. In addition to your previous comments, that might also help explain why the Military Regulator is a better chopper than the TT Regulator.[/quote]

I commented the other day that I felt, without using a scale, that my TT Reg was not only lighter but balanced differently than the SOD. The TT is a 'Fighter!' Now I'm going to pic up two or three Mil Regs and use one for a chopper and gift the others. This is blade nirvana!!!
