The only new news is that Dan tried to get the release notice up on the website last night but couldn't do so because of a software glitch. He said he'd try again next week. And I wouldn't be too concerned about bad blood flowing again. Dan and the Mods appear to be operating on a very short fuse at the moment and it wouldn't be a good idea for anyone to test their resolve.
