I like the Regulator with the full double guard, but I really don't need one. I have a pile of 7" combat knives. And my SOD LE fills that size SY knife well for my uses, not being a combat soldier. If Dan makes a smaller 5" version for air crews, I would buy one for my daughter who is in the Air Force.
