Never said they were an older team, what I said was after Turin Hockey Canada said we would not make the same mistake and guys would have to earn their spot.
Neidemier
Pronger
Iginla
Brodeur
Those 4 guys have not played well enough in the regular NHL season to be on this team. Pronger and Neidemier have been brutal during the regular season and Iginla has been mediocure at best.
I hope Canada wins but I don't think the old and slow Pronger and Neidemier where the right choices when Hockey Canada knew they would face some young fast NHL players.
If Canada plays tomorrow like they did against the Russians, they should win

They are all solid players despite recent history, they also have something many of the younger players dont, olympic experience and leadership. You cant have a team of all kids.

Same old arguement as Turin, fact is none of those 4 have played well this year. If you really needed older players as leaders then pick 1 or 2.
I don't think the Pittsburg Penguins would say their young captain isn't a leader.

I really hope the old guys can elevate their game like they did against the Russians but we will see.

Oh and thanks for the apology about your crack at me about checking my facts when I didn't state any such thing.
