I have never had an issue with fluid seeping under the handle, always been a real tight fit. I beleive there were some Scrapper4s that had a "gap" in the handle, besides not looking as pretty as others, I don't think there was any other problems.

Remember SYKCO has a great warrenty and if something happened I'm sure Dan would make it right.
