I think the 7 or so inch blade bowie style knives are probably the best all around wilderness/camping knives
7 or so inch blade SR101 clip points like the Camp Tramp and drop points like the Chopweiler still get my vote for best all around wilderness/camping knives. But if I didn't have one of those, I wouldn't hesitate to carry a Regulator.

I'm gonna try to snag a chopweiler, i wanna test it out.
